Power To The Humble Truth

Wish has not yet been granted
Wishing Well

There's a big truth that's long been ignored. I campaigned on this truth 30 years ago. Most people couldn't hear it because they weren't ready. Today, it haunts a majority of Americans.

In West Virginia, most people don't even vote because they don't believe their vote matters. But, when Bernie came to town, they shared their humble truth. It was beautiful to watch, and comforting.

I wish we could all be as honest as the people in this video. I wish we would stop selling them short, and find our way back into each other's graces.

I wish we could all stitch ourselves back into that star-spangled tapestry that once kept all Americans believing that liberty and justice would finally find its way into their home.

Wilsons Grave

It's a good thing that older folks like Bernie are free to speak their mind and say it like it is. He's got nothing to lose by telling the truth. I'm seeing this outspokenness happening with lots of older folks now. They're mad as hell and aren't taking it any more. Maybe they'll be the ones to save us all.

Slipstream

Such a good video. We missed the boat when we didn't put Bernie in office. He's truly a man of the people, not the billionaires or corporations, but "real" people. These West VA folks, like a lot of us, aren't getting what they need from either party. I'm glad he's out there listening and talking and reminding people that they do matter and to speak up and make their voices heard. Thanks for posting this.

Homeless Valley

Loved this video! Not everyone is angry. Some people want to fix things, not just fight everyone who's not wearing the red hat. I'm encouraged.

Gosh, if Bernie were 40 years younger, he'd have more than a fighting chance to sit in the big chair in '28. I can only imagine the war chest of infinite dollars the corporate machine would amass to neutralize the threat a candidate like him would bring.

The people in this video have every right to feel abandoned, first by the Dems, and now by MAGA. I pray for candidates for office who won't stand for "business as usual," who won't weaken when offered a taste of big corporate donations, and who make the disenfranchised feel like they matter.
