"Soldiers in a holy war," "spiritual warfare"—where is Jesus Christ in this? Just think of all the good these people could be doing if their energy and resources were used being "Christlike." I'm not a bible scholar, but I don't think Jesus would be preaching war. My view of Jesus is that he'd be rolling up his sleeves and providing food to the hungry, taking care of the sick, and finding ways to prevent conflict so that people stop dying in senseless conflicts. And he'd be asking the rest of us, whatever our religion, to roll up our sleeves and do the same.
