Something good is blossoming in American churches. As political parties squabble over how federal dollars should be spent, a North Carolina congregation figured out how to wipe out millions in medical debt for neighbors they'll never meet.
Rev. John Jackman of Winston-Salem’s Trinity Moravian Church has pulled off a miracle that leaders in Congress have failed to do, inspiring congregations across the country to follow suit.

In an interview this past weekend, James Talarico said that beyond teaching, what Jesus did most was bring healing. Reverend Jackman and his congregation are doing just that, bringing healing to community members who rightly believed their medical debts would follow them to the grave and continue burdening their loved ones.
