Watching Senator Warnock's speech was time well spent. He speaks practically about some of our country's current ailments and strategies for course corrections.
On one hand, I'd like voices like his to be amplified. However, just as many citizens feel emboldened to express their divisive, racist views and even commit violence, corporations may feel more emboldened under the current administration to more strongly discredit and neuter such voices that threaten their profits and power. Coupled with the fact that Senator Warnock isn't white, his safety couldn't be guaranteed should his messaging gain greater momentum.
