When I first read this story, I’ll be honest—my blood started to boil. A couple of seniors getting scammed out of nearly seven grand for a retaining wall? But then I kept reading. And just like that, my blood pressure started to drop.
A local Pittsburgh-area contractor, Ray Benvenuti, stepped in and made it right. So hats off to Ray for showing up. Makes me ask myself: How can I show up? It’s something we can all think about, then act on when we get the chance.
