Ka-Ching! Look How Those Savings Add Up!
Take a minute to pat yourself on the back. We've been working on ways to save money for a little over a month now, and I hope you've found a few ideas that work for you.
Let's take a look at what those small changes can add up to.
Our October articles showed how we could save $90 or more a month by cutting everyday expenses, choosing free activities, asking for better prices, and getting rid of a service we don't use.
We saved even more by borrowing instead of buying, avoiding late fees, and making small repairs instead of replacing things. Borrowing something that costs $50 increased the savings to $140 in just one month.
Just think of what you could save over a year by sticking with these habits!
Now, maybe you didn't try every suggestion. Maybe you saved $5 instead of $10, or avoided one expense but missed another. That's okay. Every dollar you put away counts. If you've managed to save even a little, you're making progress. Give yourself credit for that.
