Youtropolis invites you to participate in a backyard harvest. Youtropolis is partnering with Happy Harvesters to pick a neighborhood orange tree ripe with fruit. Help us pick and bag the oranges, which will be distributed to Long Beach area food pantries.
The event starts at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 18th. Please show up if you can help us out, or if you’d like more details, call Jocelyn at 657-214-1619. See you there!

Great turnout. Seven volunteers stripped the tree in a couple of hours, and we even had some laughs. So happy to have been a part of it!
Happy Harvesters
The event was very successful. With a very full tree and 7 hard-working volunteers, we gleaned over 600 lbs! The oranges went to the Long Beach Food Coalition, a grassroots organization that feeds people for free.
