Ohio is use to being ignored mostly by most of the country but not these days. A man who did nothing while male wrestlers were being handled inappropriately at The OSU and the Republican Attorney General refused to bring charges against him ( now outside the legal limits) is being put up as the next speaker of the house. Ohio’s Jim Jordan has been part of the retaliation aimed at those Democrats who The Cheeto says did him wrong is a scary proposition. He is potentially more dangerous in that position than McCarthy. If your a praying person- pray his bid fails.

I didn't know this. After seeing your post, I looked up the OSU lawsuit against the doctor and read about Jim Jordan's "I don't know nothin" stance. According to almost all the athletes, the entire coaching staff, including Jordan, knew about the abuse and did nothing. Sickening. And I most certainly do pray he doesn't succeed in his bid for Speaker. What a disgrace.

It seemed like a long shot, but now like flies they seem to be landing on him. There’s no justification for any party leader, red or blue, to ignore corruption or turn a blind eye to a vile lawbreaker. To do so is the clearest evidence that such a person is not fit for office.
This bit of Ohio history, along with Jordan’s involvement in plotting a coup d’état, sets the tone for what his leadership will look like: disastrous. It is a terrifying and sad moment for our nation when one party chooses corrupt leaders to fill its side of the chamber over visionary leaders.

I didn't know about this, either. The article I read said Jordan may be deposed in one of the lawsuits. One would think that with these allegations hanging over you with the potential to gain more traction in the news, you may be inclined to keep a low profile.
That's clearly not how Jordan rolls, however. I'd be very interested to see how his claims of being blind to the doctor's abuses will hold up against multiple accusers.

Unfortunately he was re-elected even after the OSU stuff came out. The only person who seems slippery than him is The Cheeto

It seems the subject of his silence about the sexual abuse at OSU is being talked about again. Hopefully, those voting will take that into consideration and move on to another candidate.
