The fast food chain tops both tech giants when it comes to this important list!

I don't frequent In-N-Out, but I read an amazing article recently about the CEO, Lynsi Snyder, and her management philosophy. One of her quotes:

"Love is an integral part of my faith and vital to how we treat our associates. It means treating them like family, paying them well, [and] providing them opportunities to grow and learn. I try to model and teach servant leadership, which fosters an atmosphere of caring and lifting others up, giving grace, and disciplining out of trying to make us all better."

No wonder the employees are happy. How many other CEOs mention "love" and "employees" in the same sentence? Not many, maybe none.

Thanks for posting about the happy employees.

I don't eat fast food very much at all but when I do, I tend to go to IN-N-OUT specifically because I love the company's philosophy and business model, particularly when it comes to its employees. If I'm going to support any fast food establishment, this is the one I want to support.

I have to admit that I've never understood the fascination with IN-N-Out, nor people's willingness to wait in long lines for their burgers.

However, from what I've learned from your piece and about the CEO's philosophy, I have a new respect for the company. Rest assured, the corporations I've worked for made no mention of "love" in their policies and employee handbooks.
