With so many things being bad for us, I'm thrilled that coffee isn't currently considered one of them. I love my morning coffee and don't want any guilt interfering with my enjoyment. I follow your recommendation advising no caffeine late in the day; no coffee or tea at night for me. Thanks Tony!
We've all known someone who says, "I can drink coffee before bed and sleep great." Those would be the fast caffeine metabolizers. That's not the majority of us, though.
"Caffeinated naps" were trendy for a while—having a coffee or other caffeinated drink, dozing for 15-20 minutes, and feeling extra alert and energetic upon rising.
