Tricks, Treats, and Spooky Savings

Knowledge

Halloween is in a couple of weeks, and you might be dreading the squeeze on your wallet. But guess what, you can still have fun without it becoming an expensive production.

Costumes, decorations, and treats can eat up a surprising amount of money if you don't set a limit.

Before shopping, decide what you're willing to spend. Check what you already have, reuse last year's decorations, or put together a costume from clothes and items around the house.

And remember, you don't have to decorate every room or hand out the biggest treats on the block. Make the holiday work for your budget.

Your Savings Grace Assignment:

Set a firm Halloween spending limit before you buy anything else. If you planned to spend $60 but find a costume and decorations for $25 using what you have, that's $35 you can keep. Now, won't that feel good 🎃
