Paying On Time Keeps Money In Your Pocket
None of us like paying extra for something we could have avoided.
Late fees can cost $25, $35, or more, and that money could be in your pocket instead.
A simple reminder can make a big difference. Mark bill due dates on your calendar or phone, and set an alert a few days ahead. That gives you time to pay before the deadline sneaks up on you.
If you get paid on a regular schedule, see if you can arrange your bills around payday. Some companies will let you change your due date. Automatic payments can help, too, as long as you have enough money in your account to cover them.
Your Savings Grace Assignment:
Check your bills and mark their due dates on your calendar. Set a reminder a few days early and give yourself a head start.
Avoiding just one late fee can keep $25 or more in your pocket and out of your creditor's profits.
