Convenience Costs Extra

Knowledge

Convenience is great. But sometimes we're paying a lot of money just to make something a little easier.

Think about the cost of takeout instead of cooking, shopping services and delivery fees, pre-cut foods, or paying someone to do a job you could handle yourself.

You don't have to give up every convenience. Just find one that is costing you more than it's worth.

If you skip a $5 convenience expense twice a week, that's about $40 a month you could keep.

Your Savings Grace Assignment:

Find one convenience expense you can skip this week.

Put the money you would have spent into your savings spot instead.

You just saved money by doing something yourself.

Present Valley

These are great suggestions.

I stopped getting coffee at Starbucks quite awhile ago and I rarely eat out.
I walk to places that are close like the bank, Kohl's, post office or Ralph's which saves a little gas...and boy is it high right now!

Savings Grace

Great tips. Starbucks is super expensive, and walking not only saves gas but is physically better for you. Good for you, and thanks for sharing the actions you're taking.
