Such a wise poem! So true. God does use hardship to strengthen us without hardening us, teaches us to embolden us, and gives us the vision to see our way through it. The poem is an example of how God has moved you forward with the vision of the Red Sea being parted.
I support you and your pledge, and trust you will emerge triumphant in in God's loving hands.
What a beautiful poem, and it certainly rings of Truth. Thanks so much for posting it.
A mantra that's been very helpful to millions of people: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." Maybe you can find comfort in it too 😇🙏
I so appreciate your vulnerable sharing of your hard time and this soulful post.
I am a big believer in what we need to hear, see or feel somehow shows up as an anchor. I'm so happy for you that you found this poem, what you needed today, to help you get through this difficult time.
I wholeheartedly support your pledge knowing that you, or any of us, are ever alone and always in God's view even though I understand it doesn't feel that way.
I don't know what you're going through, but I know pain and I know it's universal even if its many causes are distinct.
Wondering where god is makes sense in our world where so many people are being hurt. But god can't control everyone because he wants to honor our free will. We learn from going off the rails, hopefully. Meanwhile God does bring comfort during our pain, such as through the poem you found, and frankly I think it's his way of bringing us closer to him. I believe God is with you and is with everyone, even those who aren't believers.
It's a privilege to support your pledge and keep doubt at bay. Tough times pass. God remains faithful to us always.

Yes, we are, especially when we don’t feel it when the anchor can’t be nudged or lifted as the currents toss us around, 🙏🏼
