Super Bowl memories

Super bowl day always brings back sweet memories. The first in ‘67 was the year of my first wedding anniversary and the birth of our first child. When the boys were teens and we lived in Glendale we started Super Bowl parties. It was a time where friends and family celebrated and came together. These were happy times and we all looked forward to celebrating a fun day. So this year is Super Bowl 58 and I can’t help reflecting on how the world and our lives have changed, almost beyond recognition. I miss those happy times more than I can say. To all who remember those many years ago, Happy Super Bowl Sunday.

That's a great memory. I loved those gatherings--always so heartwarming and fun. And you're right. If we were to imagine ourselves this far into the future, all those things that dominate our lives now would never cross our minds. We can never recreate the past as it once was, but I hope you still enjoyed the game today surrounded by good company. ❤️❤️❤️

Spent it quietly at home with my little Luca. Some memories just have to stay memories. Things are not the same since 2011. Hope you had a good day. 🏈

I will never forget those Super Bowl parties! So fun! I even got off my beloved sofa this year to watch it with my grandkids. Chile, chicken wings and an excuse to all be together and watch TV. Thanks for starting my first memories of that tradition.

I hear you loud and clear about it not being the same, but the memories are filled with love and joy and that's what we should hold on to. The joys of our past can make our heart soar and bring a smile to our face 😊
